Here are six smoothie recipes, all with their own purpose, that show the versatility of Vitamix:
 

1. Metabolism Boosting

 
Ingredients:

1 cup water

1 cup green grapes

½ cup pineapple, peeled, cubed

½ banana, peeled

2 cups spinach

½ cup ice cubes

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
 

2. Energizing

 
Ingredients:

4 ounces reduced-fat vanilla yoghurt

2 cups pineapple, peeled, cubed

1 stalk celery, diced

2 cups spinach

2 cups ice cubes

Sweetener, to taste

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase to the highest speed.

Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.
 

3. Breakfast

 
Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk

1 cup spinach

½ cup romaine lettuce

¼ cup mint leaves

2 bananas, peeled, halved

1½ cup raspberries, frozen

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.
 

4. Gluten-Free

 
Ingredients:

½ cup light tofu

1 banana, peeled, halved

1 cup pineapple, peeled, cubed

1 Large orange, peeled, halved

1 cup ice cubes

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 35-45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
 

5. Four Fruit

 
Ingredients:

1 Large orange, peeled, halved

1 slice pineapple, peeled

½ banana, peeled

3 strawberries, hulled, quartered

1 cup water

2 tablespoons agave nectar

1 cup ice cubes

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 30 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached.
 

6. Everything

 
Ingredients:

½ cup soy milk

½ cup grapes

1 Large orange, peeled, halved

8 ounces frozen peaches, thawed

½ cup pineapple, peeled, cubed

1 carrot, halved

½ cup broccoli, chopped

½ cup spinach

1 cup strawberries

¼ frozen banana, peeled

1 cup ice cubes

Method:

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase to the highest speed.

Blend for 1 minute, using tamper to press the ingredients into the blades, or until desired consistency is reached.
